PM:Take a drive to Hoi An. On the way stop at Ngu Hanh Son Moutain (Five-element Mount). Shopping souvenir at the famous stone carving village of Non Nuoc. Arrive in the port town of Hoi An, ancient Chinese and Japanese trade’s counter at the seventeenth century. Take walking tour around the old streets, visit traditional local houses with typical architecture as well as several popular trading- congregational houses. Take a road trip to My Son. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Lunch at local restaurant before continuing to drive to Hue acnient city. Arrive in Hue, discover the Imperial City, the former sacred home of the royal family as well as the central government. This is a great sprawling complex of temples, pavilions, moats, walls, gates, shops, museums and galleries, featuring art and costumes from various periods of the Vietnamese history. After breakfast, take a bicycle tour towards the ancient village of Thuy Bieu with well-preserved communal houses as well as extraordinary gardens. On the way back, visit several monuments of Nguyen dynasty, the last Vietnamese dynasty: Ho Quyen, the arena where tigers and elephants had brutally heroic fights, Voi Re Temple (elephant’s roar) a unique temple-cemetery dedicated to the Kings' loyal elephants, and a surprising bronze. Have lunch with a local family to discover the rustic.
In the afternoon, hit the road for the departure to Quang Binh province. Hear stories about the local people’s heroism and bravery as well their suffering during the war while passing through many historic sites related to the Vietnamese war. Dinner upon arrival at Dong Hoi city. Free time for discovering Dong Hoi city at night. Overnight in Dong Hoi city.
After breakfast, depart to the dock to take a cruise by speed boat, visiting Phong Nha cave, the pride of Vietnam tourism as a World Natural Heritage. Enjoy the stunning karstic scenery of mountains coved by the green of forest, caves and the beautiful Chay river. Free time for tourists to experience kayaking, zip-line and swimming on the gorgeous river. Back to the dock and have lunch.
In the afternoon, visit Thien Duong Cave- the Heaven Cave, known for being the second largest cave in Phong Nha karstic system with colossus stalactites in many exotic shapes and sizes. Return Dong Hoi city for dinner. Overnight in Dong Hoi city.
Have breakfast and then come back to Hue. Have lunch upon reaching Hue city.
After checking in at the hotel, have a brief rest. Visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, the 4th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam, who reigned from 1847–1883. The buildings and gardens have been shaped according to the directives of geomancy (Feng Shui). Visit the tomb of Khai Dinh, known as one of the kings with most luxurious lifestyle, It was built for the Nguyen Emperor Khải Định, the twelfth king of the Nguyen dynasty. It was built from 1920 to 1931 taking 11 years to complete. The tomb is a blend of Western and Eastern architecture.
