DAY 01: Sai Gon Arrival (D)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to visit Hochiminh city, still called Saigon by many locals. Visit: REUNIFICATION PALACE. Formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president, this 60s style building was famously stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975 signifying the fall of South Vietnam. It has been preserved in its original state, and the original tanks remain on display near the entrance gates. Then visit OLD SAIGON POST OFFICE and visit shopping centers. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 02: Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi Tunnels – Vung Tau (B,L)
AM : Have breakfast and hotel check out. Take a bus to Cu Chi Tunnels which were never discovered by American Force. These tunnels are stretching over 200 km and were important Viet Cong base during the American War. This underground network, dug by hand connected command posts hospital shelter and weapon factories. Have lunch at local restaurant.Proceed to Vung Tau, a well known coastal resort 125km southeast of Saigon.
Upon arrival, visit to Vung Tau beach. Overnight in Vung Tau.
DAY 03: Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh city (B,L)
After breakfast, visit to the SUMMER PALACE of the Emperor Bao Dai which was built by French (1898 – 1916) as a summer holiday house of French Govenor General Paul Doumer. From íts balcony there’s a panoramic view of Front Beach& opposite the Villa at the foot of that mountain is Hai Ngu islet with a stone rock shaped like a water baffalo wallowing in water. Lunch with seafood, grains, vegetables
Transfer back to Saigon.Visit BEN THANH market the oldest &biggest market for shopping and the other shopping stores.Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 04: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh city (B,L)
After breakfast, day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta - My Tho. Excursion to My Tho with a boat trip to Mekong River islands from Saigon. My Tho, a bustling town in the rich agricultural region of the Mekong Delta. Visit the VINH TRANG PAGODA, a beautiful temple and a sanctuary for orphans and other needy children. Afterwards board a local boat to explore the MEKONG RIVER ISLANDS, stopping at a fruit orchard to enjoy fruit and tea while listening to local music and THOI SON islet. The trip also includes a small sampan ride through the tiny waterways that thread the island.Drive back to Ho Chi Minh in the late afternoon. Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 05: Ho Chi Minh city - Departure (B)
After breakfast, free at leisure till transfer to airport for departure flight.
